2015 was a wonderful year, without a doubt.
The year started out great with my 23rd birthday, I also attended my first Fashion Week event in Provo, celebrated Darling On A Dollar’s first birthday, finally got my braces taken off, continued to travel all over the US for work- experiencing great places like Seattle, Miami, Los Angeles & many places in between- and recently attended my first Utah Fashion Week event!
About half way through the year I felt the need for a change. I was bored with my auburn-brown hair and didn’t want to be your cookie-cutter blonde. I wanted something different and challenging, something a little more “me”. I finally decided on red and it was one of the best hair decisions I’ve ever made! Since the ever-so talented Emma Ribeira (of Emma’s Parlour) made me a redhead, I have had so many people approach me with compliments, collaboration offers and model opportunities. It’s a constant reminder to me that being yourself and being unique really pays off.?
Here’s a couple styled photo shoots that I (and my partner-in-crime) got to be a part of over the last few months:
Photos by Diana Putnam Photography– Hair- Emma’s Parlour, MUA- Devan Ampuero, Dress- Mikarose Boutique.
Photos by Endless Photography for Utah Fashion Insider Magazine– Styled by: Natalie Workman & Janay Robison, Hair: Sierra Miller, Makeup: Jessika Luz, Shirt: Julie Nguyen, Skirt: Bree Lena, Jewelry: Desert Rose Jewelry, Jeffery’s Jacket & Jeans: Franklynn James.

Since August, my blog has taken off- full speed! My Instagram follower count has grown by almost two thousand and I’ve even been featured by some pretty fabulous companies. Here are just a few…
Pretty crazy, right?! If you had told me I would be featured on Aerie’s or Tarte’s Instagram this time last year, I would’ve called you a loony. 🙂
I want to conclude my last blog post of 2015 with a big ‘thank you’ to everyone I was blessed to work with over the last year. I’m so grateful for all of the opportunities, experiences and friends I’ve made. It’s crazy how much Darling On A Dollar has evolved in the last 365 days and I’m so excited to see what 2016 has in store!
Thanks for reading and have a FANTASTIC New Years Eve!!!
