Long time no see! With how much I’ve been working and traveling, I kind of went MIA with my blogging. May was a crazy month for me. I left for my work trip on the last day of April and didn’t return home until mid/late May! Once home, I went right back to work at my local job. It never ends! There just wasn’t time. But I’m back! Though this month I will be doing even MORE working and traveling than last month, I will do my absolute best with keeping up.

I figured I’ve give you a little recap of my crazy month. Are you ready? Here we go…
My travels began with New York where I worked in Syracuse for the weekend. It was an average work trip nonetheless. After that I hoped on a plane and headed for Minnesota where I stayed, played and worked in the lovely city of Minneapolis for a whole week! I finally got to visit the Mall Of America (and many other malls… we did so much shopping). It was great, aside from the fact I got SO sick half way through the week. With my job there’s no time for being sick, so I powered through it until it finally subsided a week later while I was in…. Miami! I originally planned on heading home as soon as I was done in Minneapolis, but at the last minute my boss asked me to go to Miami that next week for an event and how can you say no to Miami?! I had never been, so it was a new experience. My week in Miami obviously consisted of working, beach time, some more shopping and eating out at BJ’s Brewery (we literally ate there five nights in a row… I am SOOO obsessed with their Pizookies! Unfortunately, we don’t have a BJ’s here in Utah *cries*).

Since arriving home my time has been filled with even more work, time with family and friends, swimming and concerts. The last concert I went to was Dustin Kensrue (hence my new band tee/tank). His show was fantastic and I highly recommend checking out his music.

I paired my new tank top with a J. Crew cardigan, my super comfy Vans and these darling floral J. Crew shorts I found at Hut 8 last week that are THE PERFECT length for me! I like my shorts more on the longer side as opposed to the booty-short trend we are seeing these days. My only dilemma is that if I find the right length for me, they are typically wayyyy too loose on the thighs. I end up feeling like I’m wearing a mini skirt! Luckily, these are the perfect length and fit like a glove. Finding a good pair of shorts  is seriously the best!

Thanks for reading! Have a wonderful week!
