“The best things in life are free. The second best things are expensive.” -Coco Chanel
I find this quote to be very true, at least for myself. I was born with expensive taste that my bank account can’t support. So what’s a girl to do when she’s got her eye on a pair of designer boots or the perfect Kate Spade top? I have the answer for you….

Growing up, we often didn’t have the money to go clothes shopping. Thankfully, I’m blessed with stylish aunts who were my same size and who didn’t care to keep their True Religion jeans or Gap shirts for too long. I had the cutest hand-me-downs thanks to them.
I’ve always loved the idea of giving clothes a second life. Like they say, “One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.“.

Now that I’m older, second-hand stores are my absolute favorite. If you read my blog regularly, you know how much I LOVE Hut 8. There, you can bring in your gently used, name brand clothes and receive cash or in-store credit for them on the spot. But the Hut’s not like normal clothing exchanges, this place is legit. I never have to search high and low for great brands there, they fill up the majority of the store! Their prices are wonderfully low, too!

Recently, while shopping at Hut 8 I found this little number. The second I saw it I adored it, and when I looked at the tag to see what company created such a darling top it all made sense.
Kate Spade.
That’s right, I had found gold.
This top retails for about $250 but the Hut had it priced for just $70!!!
I found this insanely cute H&M skirt (with the $18 price tag STILL on it) and these perfectly pink Rue 21 heels for a combined total of just $13!
The best part? I didn’t pay a penny for anything!
That’s right, I sold a bag of my unwanted clothes to Hut 8 and voila!– a beautiful exchange!

Now, I know what you’re thinking, “Where is the nearest Hut 8?!?!”
I have placed a link >>HERE<< to the list of their locations throughout the US. You’re welcome! 😉

(My phone case is also Kate Spade and was $18 at Nordstrom Rack! Had to snap a photo because it’s so stinkin’ cute and matched with my outfit! It’s also THE BEST iPhone case I’ve ever had. VERY durable and perfect for someone who drops their phone almost on a daily basis!)

Thanks for reading and have a fantastic week! 🙂
