From the moment I saw this Calvin Klein dress, I knew I absolutely had to have it! I purchased it a couple summers ago in Las Vegas for just $25… yes, $25!!! Thank goodness for great discounts! I had never ever EVER owned or worn something like this before, but I was feeling extra adventurous that day and went for it!

The fit of this dress is incredible, the teal color is absolutely gorgeous, the color contrast is soooo flattering and the neckline is stunning! If you ever want to look and feel like a million bucks in a dress then I highly recommend a color block dress like this. I felt like I was ready for a gala or the red carpet! I paired my dress with these insanely comfortable Steve Madden pointed black flats, put my hair up in a french bun (they’re a lot harder than they look!) and finished my outfit off with these beeeeautiful statement earrings that I bought at Bella Ella Boutique!

SOOO…. I went to Katy Perry’s Prismatic World Tour concert on Monday and OH MY GOSH. If you’ve never been to one of her concerts before, I HIGHLY recommend it. She’s not one of those singers that just stands there, from time to time participates with the dancers and just sings their songs- no, not Katy. She’s an incredible performer! At one point she was literally running on a tredmil-like part of the stage WHILE singing (beautifully, I might add!), she jump roped, did many different dance numbers, her stage, props and costumes were constantly changing, she flew over the crowd multiple times, had fireworks go off inside and even handed out a pepperoni pizza! I bought our tickets back in January, so my little sister and I had fantastic seats! It was seriously the greatest night. Here’s a couple pictures of my sister and I and a short, little video I took of Katy flying over the crowd with balloons during her song “Birthday” (I apologize for the horrible quality, I used my old digital camera LOL)! 🙂

Enjoy!
